concept 9: 18 october 2023

i find myself in reflection a lot. trying to make sense of the world we’re living in and using my past experiences to help inform the questions i have for the present. since moving to new york city and navigating responsibilities in my early 20s i am reflecting on almost everything to reassure myself.

over a year into postgrad, life right now feels like grieving the old me and the relationships i once had. where now, every peer and i are in a life changing journey to find who we truly are and that means for once truly experiencing the “finding of ourselves” alone, together but alone. this is a visual piece of reflection and the weight of undergoing this mental navigation for the first time
